Technical Assistance to India

In the Terai area of India, the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) work jointly to free the land of malaria in order to spur the production of food.

Shown here is a Tractor repair station in Terai. Two Scandinavians, part of FAO team aiding project, advise on small power units. They help build workshops, train Indian mechanics in maintenance. [Exact date unknown]
