Twelfth Session of the United Nations General Assembly
The United Nations General Assembly, which opened its 12th regular Session on 17 September at United Nations Headquarters in New York, today unanimously re-elected Mr. Dag Hammarskjold to a second five-year term as Secretary-General of the U.N. Then, in the continuing general debate, the Assembly heard statements by the representatives of Bolivia, El Salvador and Sudan.
