Soviet Premier Visits United Nations

18 September 1959

Nikita S. Khrushchev, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, today visited the United Nations where he addressed the 82-Member General Assembly.
Here, on his arrival at United Nations Headquarters, Premier Khrushchev is greeted by UN Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjöld (left). The Premier is followed by Mrs. Khrushchev and, at extreme right, Mr. Mikhail Menshikov, Ambassador of the USSR to the United Nations.
