USSR Signs Convention on Foreign Arbitral Awards

The USSR today signed the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards. The Convention, which is designed to ensure that a private agreement to arbitrate will be fully respected by the courts of all countries that become parties to it will remain open for signature until 31 December.
