Celebrations of United Nations Day - 1966

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra under the direction of William Steinberg took part in a United Nations Day Concert which was held in the General Assembly Hall today. The soloist was Mirella Freni, Italian soprano. An address was given by UN Secretary-General, U Thant.
