UNEF Commander Visits Indian Troops on Armistive Demarcation Line
Major General E-L.M, Burns, Commander of the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF), today visited troops of the Indian contingent (Third Batallion) maintaining patrols on the Armistice Demarcation Line. The Indian contingent of UNEF is being rotated after having served just two weeks short of a year.
