Forestry Parley Meets in Geneva

The leading forestry authorities of Europe recently concluded a series of discussions at Geneva to coordinate Europe's forestry policies and increase production of timber on an over-all basis. The meeting was sponsored by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Here, a Swiss Forestry Inspector explains the principles of forest conservation to a group of delegates. [September 1949]
