United Nations Featured in Haiti's International Exposition

Visitors look at the wall map "The United
Nations in Action" depicting the work of the organization in one of the two U.N. pavilions. The President of Haiti, Dumarsais Estimé, inaugurated two pavilions installed with aid from the U.N. Department of Public Information. The International Exposition was organized by the Haitian Government and held to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the founding of Haiti's capital city Port-au-Prince.
