Mr. José Maza (Chile), President of 10th U.N. General Assembly

The 10th regular session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, which convened yesterday at U.N. Headquarters, unanimously elected Mr. José Maza, Chairman of the delegation of Chile, as its President. Mr. Maza, who was born in 1889 in Chile, has had a long and distinguished career as a lawyer, a legislator and a diplomat.
