Second UN International Atomic Energy Conference – Atomic Exhibit
A twenty-nation exhibition showing how atomic energy has been put to work for man's benefit is being held in Geneva in conjunction with the Second United Nations International Conference on the Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy, now in progress (1-13 September) at the Palais des Nations. Government displays, housed in a special temporary building on the Palais grounds, cover 8,000 square meters of floor space.
The world spheres which these three visitors are studying at the UN scientific exhibition were put up by the International Atomic Energy Agency and show the location and number of atomic energy power plants, of uranium plants, etc.
