Virtually all important aspects of economic development in Africa were considered this month by the Commission which held its annual session in Addis Ababa from 6 - 18 February.
Here, after formally dedicating Africa Hall, where the Commission is meeting, Emperor Haile Selassie pauses in front of a maquette of the new structure, during a tour of the building. The Hall is a three-story domelike structure of elaborate design, with large assembly and committee rooms, lobbies and lounges. It was dedicated formally by the Emperor on 6 February.
