Marine Diesel Training

The Regional Marine Diesel Training Centre at Dallah Dockyard, Rangoon, Burma, which had been receiving technical aid from ILO (the International Labour Organization), was formally transferred to complete Burmese direction and operation in 1960. Students from many neighboring countries, including Thailand, India, Pakistan, Ceylon, Korea, Malaya, North Borneo, and Singapore, have received training at the Centre.
