Mrs. Roosevelt Presents Report on Human Rights to United Nations Economic and Social Council

Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt, United States, Chairwoman of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, talks with President of the Economic and Social Council, Dr. Charles Malik, Lebanon, left, and Professor John P. Humphrey, Director of the Human Rights Division, before the 7th meeting of the Council and which Mrs. Roosevelt presented the Report of the Commission.

Mrs. Roosevelt reported that drafts of an International Declaration on Human Rights, completed by the Commission's Second Session, had been submitted to Member Governments for their observations. These observations will be submitted by the Council.
