Chairman of Group of 77 Meets with Press

Bagher Asadi (Islamic Republic of Iran), Chairman of the Group of 77, meets with correspondents to discuss the upcoming World Trade Organization (WTO) meeting in Doha, Qatar, on which the Group of 77 has adopted a draft declaration, containing the political outlook of the developing world on the WTO and its work. Mr. Asadi also spoke about the International Conference on Financing for Development, scheduled to take place in Monterrey, Mexico, on 18-22 March 2002.
