United Nations Staff Express Solidarity with Government and People of United States following 11 September Terrorist Attack

Secretary-General Kofi Annan addresses staff members gathered in the General Assembly Hall for a solemn ceremony expressing their solidarity with the Government and people of the United States and to extend sympathy to those affected by the 11 September terrorist attack in which airplanes flew into the New York City's World Trade Center and the Pentagon building in Washington, D.C.
