General Assembly Opens Fifty-Sixth Session, Condemns Terrorist Attack on United States in Host City, National Capital

James Cunningham (United States) addresses the opening meeting of the fifty-sixth session of the General Assembly. Acting without a vote, the Assembly adopted a resolution condemning yesterday's terrorist attack on the United States, in which airplanes flew into New York City's World Trade Center and the Pentagon building in Washington, D.C.
