Executive Director of United Nations Children's Fund Addresses Twenty-Seventh Special Session on Children

The Special Session on Children (8-10 May 2002) is an unprecedented meeting of the UN General Assembly dedicated to the children and adolescents of the world. It brings together government leaders, Heads of State, NGOs, children's advocates, as well as young people at the United Nations. This gathering presents a great opportunity to change the way the world views and treats children.
