Third Committee Adopts Text for Article 15 of Draft Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights

The General Assembly's Third (Social, Humanitarian and Cultural) Committee this afternoon voted on and adopted Article 15 of the draft Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. This Article deals with a plan for implementing compulsory and free primary education.
