Latvia Presents Gift to United Nations

14 November 1994

Latvian President Guntis Ulmanis presented an official gift to the United Nations today. The gift, a tapestry called "Hope", was created by the Latvian artist Edite Pauls-Vignere.
Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali (behind podium) accepting the tapestry on behalf of the United Nations.
