Security Council Considers Situation in Afghanistan

Anne Gueguen, Deputy Permanent Representative of France to the United Nations and President of the Security Council for the month of March, chairs the Security Council meeting on the situation in Afghanistan and its implications for international peace and security. The Council unanimously adopted resolution 2460 (2019) extending the mandate of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) until 17 September 2019.
