Celebration of International Day of Forests: "Forests and Education"

Members of Las Fotos Project, a community-based nonprofit organization in Los Angeles, California, that inspires teenage girls through photography, mentorship, and self-expression, participate in the special event on ""Forests and Education"", held in observance of the International Day of Forests.
The International Day of Forests is held annually on 21 March to raise awareness of the importance of forests to people and their vital role in poverty eradication, environmental sustainability and food security.
