United Nations Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali opened the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) - or Earth Summit - on 3 June 1992, and Fernando Collor De Mello, President of Brazil was elected President of the Conference.
Carlos Salinas de Gortari, President of Mexico, addresses the Conference.
