Earth Summit Committee Unveils National Bus Art Poster Campaign Promoting Environmental Awareness

The Earth Summit Committee, formed to promote public awareness of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development, announced a national bus art poster campaign. Renewed artist Robert Rauschenberg contributed a work entitled 'Ozone', which depicts the depletion of the ozone layer. The multi-coloured collage of images conveys the constant battle between nature and technology. The environmental conference will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 1-12 June 1992.
