Observance of International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian People

The Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People today held a commemorative session at UN Headquarters to mark the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
At the Presiding table during the Secretary-General's address are (left to right): Y. Yogasundram, Chief, Division for Palestinian Rights; Ambassador Nissanka Wijewardane (Sri Lanka), Chairman, Special Committee to Investigate Isreali Practices Affecting the Population of the Occupied Territories; Ambassador Hennediy Udovenko (Ukrainian SSR),Acting Chairman, Special Committee Against Apartheid; Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar; Ambassador Massamba Sarre (Senegal),Chairman, Palestinian Rights Committee and Humayun Rasheed Chqudhury (Bangladesh), President of the General Assembly.
