Secretary-General Meets with Aides on Iraq-Kuwait Crisis

Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar (far left), has a working session with his aides (from left): Chef de Cabinet Virendra Dayal; Acting Assistant Secretary-General Jean Claude Aimee; and First Officer Lisa Buttenheim, prior to his departure for Geneva and Baghdad in an attempt to achieve a peaceful settlement of the Iraq-Kuwait crisis.
