Press Conference by Stevie Wonder, Roberta Flack and Ben Vereen

Stevie Wonder (third from right at table), world renowned singer, today held a press conference at United Nations Headquarters after he vas presented a citation by the Special Committee against apartheid in recognition of Mr. Wonder's opposition to racial discrimination and apartheid. On 25 March, he accepted a Motion Picture Academy Award for the best song in the name of Nelson Mandela, the leader of the national resistance, serving a life sentence in South Africa. At today's press conference Mr. Wonder was accompanied by Roberta Flack (second from right) and Ben Vereen.
