Secretary-General Opens Art Exhibit and Sale for the Benefit of UNICEF

Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar opened an art exhibit and sale for the benefit of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in the General Assembly lobby at the UN Headquarters today. Entitled "Peace and Understanding through Art", it is the thirty-third such exhibit by the United Nations Art Club, featuring original paintings, drawings and sculpture by both professional and non-professional artists who are members of the UN Community.
