Guatemalan President Meets with Secretary-General

Secretary-General Javier Perez De Cuellar (right) greets the President of Guatemala, Marco Vinicio Cerezo-Arevalo, who had come to UN Headquarters to address this morning's session of the General Assembly. They discussed the situation in Central America and the Secretary-General expressed his strong support for efforts being undertaken to establish peace in the region.
