Head of Palestine Liberation Organization at UN Headquarters

The head of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Yasser Arafat, arrived at UN Headquarters early this morning. He will be the first speaker in the General Assembly's opening debate on the question of Palestine. The Assembly voted on 14 October to invite the PLO to participate in its deliberations on the subject.
