Ad Hoc Committee Adopts Draft Declaration and Action Programme

A draft Declaration on the Establishment of a New International Economic Order, along with a draft Programme of Action that includes special measures for the benefit of countries most seriously affected by the economic crisis, were adopted today by consensus in the Ad Hoc Committee of the Six Special Session of the General Assembly.
Conferring before the meeting are (from left): Fereydoun Hoveyda (Iran), Lazar Mojsov (Yugoslavia) and Samar Sen (India).
