General Assembly Meets to Follow-up on UN Conferences and Votes on Global Compact

UN Staff from Meeting Services of the Department of General Assembly and Conference Management, speaks with each other prior to the General Assembly meeting on integrated and coordinated implementation of and follow-up to the outcomes of the major United Nations conferences and summits in the economic, social and related fields, as well as a follow-up to the outcome of the Millennium Summit.
The General Assembly voted to endorse the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration adopted by the Intergovernmental Conference.
