Assembly Hears Brazil, United States, Nicaragua, Zaire as General Debate Opens: Cyprus Item Assigned to Plenary
The General Assembly began the general debate of its thirtieth regular session this morning, hearing statements by the Foreign Ministers of Brazil, the United States, Nicaragua and Zaire. Before the debate began, the Assembly decided to allocate the agenda item entitled ""Question of Cyprus"" to plenary meetings, with consultations to continue on how best to give the Cypriot communities the opportunity to speak.
