Maputo Conference in Support of Peoples of Zimbabwe and Namibia, 16-21 May 1977

The International Conference in Support of the Peoples of Zimbabwe and Namibia opened on 16 May in Maputo, Mozambique. The Conference is being held from 16 to 21 May for the purpose of supporting those Territories in their struggle for self-determination and independence.

Olof Palme, former Prime Minister of Sweden, an invited guest, addresses the Conference.
