Secretary-General Pays Two-Week Visit to Middle East

Secretary-General Kurt Waldheim holding a forty-minute, open-air press conference in front of the terminal at the Nicosia International Airport which has not been in use since the war of July/August 1974. The press conference was attended by a large gathering of newsmen –Greek Cypriot, Turkish Cypriot and the international press.
