General Assembly Opens Thirty-Third Session; Solomon Islands Becomes 150th Member of UN
The General Assembly opened its thirty-third regular session this afternoon, electing Indalecio Lievano, Foreign Minister of Colombia, as its President and admitting the Solomon Islands as the 150th Member State of the United Nations.
