President of Cyprus Pays Official Visit to United Nations

The President of Cyprus, Spyros Kyprianou, paid an official visit to the United Nations on Monday, 22 May. Upon his arrival at the United Nations, he was received by Secretary-General Kurt Waldheim (right). After conferring with Mr. Waldheim and the General Assembly President, Lazar Mojsov (Yugoslavia), the President of Cyprus held a press conference at UN Headquarters. Mr. Kyprianou is due to address the tenth special session of the General Assembly devoted to disarmament on 24 May.
