General Assembly Hears 18 More Statements in Debate on Apartheid

The General Assembly this afternoon heard 18 more statements in its continuing debate on the policies of apartheid on the Government of South Africa. Speakers represented the delegations of Egypt, Ethiopia, Dominican Republic, Lesotho, Afghanistan, Australia, Sierra Leone, Peru, India and Turkey. An observer from the African National Congress (ANC) also spoke.
