Celebration of United Nations Day 1967

The Vienna Symphony Orchestra gave a concert in the General Assembly Hall today in commemoration of United Nations Day (October 24). Soloists were Henryk Szeryng and Jorge Bolet; and the Rutgers University Choir also took part. A commemorative address was made by Secretary-General U Thant.
