Assembly Holds Special Meeting to Mark Twentieth Anniversary of Universal Declaration of Human Rights

The General Assembly this afternoon commemorated the twentieth anniversary of the proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. At a special commemorative meeting, the importance of guaranteeing human rights and of furthering the objectives of the Declaration was emphasized in the addresses of the speakers.
