Apollo 8 Astronauts Visit United Nations Headquarters

At the invitation of the Secretary-General U Thant, the three Apollo 8 astronauts, the first circumnavigators of the moon, Colonel Frank Borman, Captain James Lovell and Lieutenant-Colonel William Anders, and their families, visited United Nations Headquarters today and attended a reception given in their honour.
