General Assembly
Seven Member States Elected to Security Council
The General Assembly met in Conference Room Four and elected Argentina, Bulgaria, Japan, Mali, New Zealand, Nigeria and Uganda as non-permanent members of the Security Council for terms beginning on 1 January 1966. Of these countries, Argentina, Bulgaria, Mali and Nigeria will serve two-year terms.
