Security Council Takes Up Complaints by Lebanon and Israel on Latest Middle East Events

17 March 1978

The Security Council met this afternoon on requests from Lebanon and Israel relating to the situation in the Middle East. Statements were made by the representatives of Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Syria and Libya, and by a representative of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). Kuwait spoke in reply to Israel.
