UN-AU High-Level Delegation Visit South Sudan

Jean-Pierre Lacroix, Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, and Phumzile Mlambo Ngcuka, Executive Director of the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), visit South Sudan as part of a joint AU-UN Mission. Their three-day visit comes a few weeks after South Sudan signed a peace agreement aimed to end a five-year conflict.
