Dag Hammarskjöld Memorial Stamp Issued by Congo (Leopoldville)
Prime Minister Cyrille Adoula, of the Congo (Leopoldville), presided over the issuance of the Congo's "Dag Hammarskjöld memorial stamp" at a ceremony held earlier today at the central post office here.
Seen here viewing a photograph of the stamp on display at the ceremony are (l. to r.) Vice-Premier Jason Sendwe, Premier Adoula, Post and Tele-communications Minister Ferdinand Mungamba, and Sture Linner, Officer-in-Charge of United Nations Operations in the Congo. The stamp is being issued in eight denominations, ranging from the equivalent of one-fifth of US$0.01 to the equivalent of US$0.16.
