Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon (right), joined by Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann (left), President of the sixty-third session of the General Assembly, opens a high-level event of world leaders, private sector representatives and civil society partners to discuss specific ways to energize collaboration to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
