Scientific Instrument Repair Centre in Philippines

Scientific Instrument Repair Centre in Philippines

The Scientific Instrument Repair Centre in the Philippines was established by the Government with the cooperation of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for the maintenance, repair, recalibration and construction of scientific equipment used in the laboratories. The Centre is serving a dual purpose as it enables scientists and teachers to carry out their work for the benefit of research and education and also helps reduce the expenditures on imports of new instruments to replace damaged ones, especially items which deteriorate quickly due to the tropical heat and humidity.
