UNCURK Members Observe Korean Local Elections Preparations

1 April 1952

Members of the UN Commission for the Unification and Rehabilitation of Korea (UNCURK) left Pusan on 10 April to observe preparations for local elections to be held in the near future in the Republic of Korea. This picture was taken in Suwon as they were looking at election posters pasted up on the South Gate city wall. Delegates on this observation team are Mr. D. Ketel, of the Netherlands, and Mr. N. Currie, of Australia.
