UNCURK Members Observe Korean Local Elections Preparations

1 April 1952

Members of the UN Commission for the Unification and Rehabilitation of Korea (UNCURK) left Pusan on 10 April to observe preparations for local elections to be held in the near future in the Republic of Korea. Outside the historic city gate at Suwon, the members of one of UNCURK's observation teams talk with some of the elder people of the town. Delegates on the team are Mr. Ketel, of the Netherlands, and Mr. Currie, of Australia.
