Korean President Initiates New Term
As a result of the Presidential elections held throughout Korea on 5 August 1952, President Syngman Rhee was reelected to serve another term, inaugurated with an official ceremony in Seoul on 15 August. This picture, taken at the ceremony, shows members of the UN Commission for the Unification and Rehabilitation of Korea (UNCURK) and other officials on the saluting base during a parade of the 1st Division of the Republic of Korea Army in honor of President Rhee.
