WHO Makes Survey of Health Conditions in South Korea

A team of doctors from the World Health Organization (WHO) is currently carrying out a preliminary survey of health conditions in the South Korean Republic. This photograph, taken as members of the team visited the Seoul Red Cross Hospital's maternity ward, shows (left to right): Dr. Louis Findlay (bending over), Medical Consultant to the UN Korean Reconstruction Agency (UNKRA); Prof. G. MacDonald, leader of the team; Dr. Lee, of the Public Health Department of Seoul; and Dr. W. Forrest, Director of the Division of Coordination and Liaison of WHO.
